Lions Beer Festival 2019

What  a great event this turned out to be with every session seeing the hall brimming over with customers. Friday evening saw the more discerning  beer drinkers trying out the fifty plus beers on offer. Saturday afternoon was more of a family event with people spilling out onto the church grass to enjoy a picnic whilst Saturday night saw the out and out rockers attending to let their hair down to the sound of 'Vintage.'

The event also  witnessed the Lions donating £5000 to the two charities chosen by this year's President. See below

First Lion's community event of the year was the free pantomime Beauty and the Beast. A full house at Blackburn hall had a great afternoon

Here we are with the pantomime  cast and the Lion members helping out on the day
